About These Terms
1.1.These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of our app and associated services offered by "DMV Practice Test" LLC. Our app provides learning materials for the Driving Theory test and other related content (the "Service").
1.2.From time to time we may amend the Terms. Any changes—no matter how small—will be posted on this page. Where appropriate, we will notify you when the Service is updated. Please check this page regularly to read any updates or changes that have been made to these Terms.
Who We Are
We are DMV Practice Test LLC, a company registered in Latvia with company number 40203264648.
Our Rights and Our Responsibilities
3.1.We own and operate the Driving Theory Test 2026: Luma app, which is also known as the DMV Permit Practice Test: Luma in certain regions, along with its associated services (the "Service"). We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the website and keep it operational. However, occasional downtime for maintenance or technical issues may occur.
3.2.We may occasionally add or remove features from the Service. We will use reasonable endeavours to keep you informed of changes, especially those likely to impact how you use it.
3.3.We do not warrant, and we accept no responsibility for, the completeness or accuracy of the content or any related information provided via the Service.
3.4.The Service is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as an official source of information.
Your General Responsibilities
4.1.You may only use the Service if you are at least 13 years of age. If you wish to subscribe to the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age and able to form a binding contract (or have parent/guardian consent where applicable).
App or Other Service Content
5.1. Driving Theory Test Content for Great Britain
- 5.1.1. This product includes the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) revision question bank.
- 5.1.2. The DVSA has given permission for the reproduction of Crown copyright material.
- 5.1.3. DVSA does not accept responsibility for the accuracy of the reproduction.
5.2. Driving Theory Test Content for the United States of America
- 5.2.1. We are not affiliated with any government body, including Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Our content is based on publicly available DMV manuals and laws and does not imply official endorsement.
- 5.2.2. While we strive for accuracy, always consult your state's official DMV manual and laws for definitive guidance.
- 5.2.3. Practice tests and content are for educational purposes and do not guarantee success in official DMV exams.
5.3. AI Chatbot (iLuma)
- 5.3.1. Our app includes access to an AI-powered chatbot, “iLuma,” designed as a learning and assistance tool to help you prepare for the Driving Theory Test.
- 5.3.2. iLuma does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information it provides. It is for guidance and educational support only and must not be relied upon as an official DVSA or DMV source.
- 5.3.3. For official and authoritative information, always refer to the official sources provided within the app (including DVSA/DMV content where applicable).
- 5.3.4. Use of iLuma is at your own discretion. We disclaim responsibility for actions taken based on information provided by the chatbot.
- 5.3.5. iLuma may respond in multiple languages; we do not guarantee the accuracy of translations. If there is any doubt or inconsistency, the official English version and official driving authority materials prevail.
License Restrictions
6.1. You agree that you will not:
- 6.1.1. Rent, loan, sub-license, lease, provide, or make available the Service in any form, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent.
- 6.1.2. Copy the Service except as part of normal use or where necessary for backup or operational security.
- 6.1.3. Translate, adapt, merge, alter, or modify the Service, or permit it to be combined with or incorporated into other programs, except where necessary to use the Service on permitted devices in line with these Terms.
- 6.1.4. Decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of the Service, or create derivative works based on it.
- 6.1.5. Violate applicable technology control or export laws and regulations related to the technology used or supported by the Service.
The Service and Acceptable Use
7.1. You must not:
- 7.1.1. Use the Service unlawfully or for unlawful purposes, or in a manner inconsistent with these Terms; act fraudulently or maliciously (including by introducing malware or harmful code into the Service or any operating system).
- 7.1.2. Infringe our intellectual property rights or those of any third party in relation to your use of the Service (including by submitting unlicensed material).
- 7.1.3. Transmit any defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable content in relation to the Service.
- 7.1.4. Use the Service in a way that could damage, impair, disable, overburden, or compromise our systems or security, or interfere with other users.
- 7.1.5. Collect or harvest information or data from the Service or our systems, or attempt to decipher transmissions to or from the servers running the Service.
Subscription Fees
- 8.1. Subscription fees and options are set out on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and are also shown in the Service during the sign-up process.
- 8.2. Any free trial is offered at our discretion and may be withdrawn at any time.
- 8.3. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless you switch auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- 8.4. Weekly subscriptions automatically renew on the same weekday you subscribed, unless cancelled.
- 8.5. Monthly subscriptions automatically renew on the same calendar day you subscribed, unless cancelled.
- 8.6. Yearly subscriptions automatically renew on the same calendar day you subscribed, unless cancelled.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
9.1. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so through your Google Play or Apple App Store (iTunes/App Store) account settings. Cancellations cannot be processed within the app by us.

Apple App Store Terms Apply
The ways you use the Service may be controlled by Apple and the App Store terms, conditions, and policies. Where those terms differ from these Terms, Apple's terms may apply to the extent of the conflict.
Disclaimer of Warranties
- 12.1. The app and Services are provided “as is,” without any warranties, express or implied.
- 12.2. We do not guarantee that our content or services will improve test results or ensure success in official DVSA/DMV exams.
- 12.3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
Your Privacy
When we process any of your personal data, we will do so in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to have your personal data processed as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Complaints and Alternative Dispute Resolution

Other Important Terms
- 15.1. These Terms and all documents referred to herein contain the whole agreement between you and us relating to the Service.
- 15.2. No representation or pre-contractual statement has legal effect unless repeated in these Terms.
- 15.3. These Terms form a contract that allows us to provide you with access to the Service in return for a fee. Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, or employment relationship between us.
- 15.4. There will be no waiver of these Terms unless we agree in writing.
- 15.5. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
